The music industry is a highly competitive market and this includes music streaming services. To compete with the big and established music platforms, there needs to be differentiation and a new feature that customers are looking for. Novus Music brings the concept of implementing social media targeted at artists and music lovers that want to connect with the feeling that evokes listening to music.
Initially, I interviewed 4 people to describe their preferred music platform, devices used to stream music and pain points about their experiences with these services. After gathering all these answers, I narrowed down my demographics for a male and female both US residents in their early 20’s to test low fidelity wireframes.
